One Three Six Restaurant is conveniently located in the “Historical Mile” in the picturesque Simon’s Town. The word “vegan” features three times on their menu – this makes it worth writing about!
Address: 136 St. George’s St, Simon’s Town
Hours: 11am-9:30pm Mon-Wed, Closed Thu, 11am-10pm Fri, 11am-9:30 Sat, 11am-3pm Sun
As this is not an official review, but rather a “did you know that…”, I am going to dive straight into what their online menu states…
- While a vegan burger option isn’t visible at first, One Three Six list next to their mention of wedges and salad that there is indeed a vegan option available in the burger category! Woohoo!
- There are five clearly categorised vegetarian options and above that, it states, “please speak to us about vegan options“. Well! I don’t mind if I do!
- They have a Vegan Ice Cream on offer for R50 – which is cheaper than any vegan offering in the Cape Town CBD, so that sound promising!
If you happen to make it there before I do or have already been, please let me know what your experience was like.
Exciting times folks! Exciting times!
Peace xx
