What Sarah Beckett, the founder of the Vegan Goods Market, has done is nothing short of remarkable. Her aim has been that of bringing the vegan community together through offering them local (and even international) products, goods, foods, and resources in her monthly market setting at the Khanyisa Waldorf School in Plumstead. Can you believe it – this market now turns 2 years old!
The time has now come to celebrate with Sarah and the very many vendors that make up this fantastic initiative. I urge each and every single vegan in Cape Town to make a plan to get your plant-eating butts down to Plumstead and help everyone celebrate in style on Saturday the 7th of April from 10am-2pm.
Tickets will be sold for an Easter Egg Hunt at 11:30am (which I sucked at last year, leaving people feeling sorry for me and gifting me their eggs). The proceeds from these ticket sales will be donated to the Greyton Farm Animal Sanctuary.
I will be there – and look forward to seeing you all there too!
