WTF Plant? – Mojo Market, Sea Point

A new plant-based pop-up has arrived at the Mojo Market and fills a welcomed gap in the venue!
WTF Plant? is a fast-food concession using all of the products of one of our beloved local brands, Urban Vegan.

From burgers to boerie rolls, schnitzels to tacos, wraps to salads and even treats & ice cream sundaes: your one-stop shop for all things plant-based has arrived!

On my first visit, I tried the Chick’n Katsu Burger: a crispy chicken patty with lettuce, tomato, and an apple honey coleslaw.

It came with some flame-grilled corn and a mozzarella stick, and I ordered a side of sweet potato fries. The fries were some of the best I’ve had…a majority of the sweet potato fries I’ve had at restaurants recently are frozen and have average taste and quality.

I also shared the Chick’n Kebabs with Bae, which were FANTASTIC, both in terms of flavour and texture.

Since first visiting, I have been back and devoured the Kimchi Boerie Roll, which was superb and a secret menu item: A burger topped with a tempura mozzarella block. Oh, so decadent!

Daytime at the Mojo Market is quieter, but the evening has more vibe, often with live music. So choose what you’re in the mood for and check it out.
WTF Plant? is open 7 days a week from 10am-10pm.
