With newly appointed Sushi Chef Rozee on the team, owner Liz has created an eatery that excels at everything it sets out to do, from the vibe and decor to the friendly waitrons and their new plant-based sushi menu.

The new sushi offerings include a variety of rolls, each with its unique blend of flavours and textures. The Spicy Tofu Inari, Tona Inari, and Mermaid Rainbow Roll were my favourites, although it was based purely on preference. The entire menu appears as flawless as the presentation, taste and texture combinations.

In addition to the sushi, Blue Kiwi has always offered an extensive menu that favours plant-based breakfasts, lunches, smoothie bowls, flapjacks, burgers, salads, small plates, juices, smoothies, mocktails, coffee, desserts and cakes.

It’s worth noting that their plant-based sushi menu that is only available Wednesday to Sunday from 11 am to 6 pm. The plant-based sushi offering is also on Uber Eats if you can’t visit the restaurant.

There is some outdoor seating, making it a great spot to enjoy a meal on a sunny (if not windy) day. They also have gluten-free options, making it an inclusive option for people with dietary restrictions.

I always have a memorable dining experience every time I visit Blue Kiwi. The food is consistently exceptional, the service friendly, and the atmosphere is cosy meets Bali meets fresh meets welcoming.
