If the name Liam Tomlin sounds familiar, it’s because he is one of Cape Town’s most sought-after chefs who started Thali. That’s pretty much reason enough to go methinks.
Cost-wise you are looking at roughly R350 pp for a set tapas menu consisting of 8 dishes. You can simply request vegan upon arrival and expect various curries, deep-fried vegetables with gorgeous sauces, potato and chickpea papadum chaat and rasam dhal. A lunch at Thali is roughly R180pp (Tue-Sat).
